Director of purchasing & business development

I grew up in a military family and am a proud United States Air Force veteran. During my six years of service, I worked in operations and material management for civil engineering, spending most of my career stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, home of the B-2 stealth bomber.

After my military career, I pursued my passion for beauty and knew Capitol Beauty School and its cosmetology program were the right direction for me.

Some highlights of my beauty industry career during and post Capitol include being a two-time nominee as a top 100 in the student category for the Behind the Chair One-Shot Hair Awards.

Another career accomplishment was being invited to work backstage at New York Fashion Week during the 2023 winter shows, and building a beautiful booth rental business before transitioning into the director of purchasing & business development at Capitol.

What do you love most about working at Capitol?

I love being a part of a team that genuinely cares about student success. As both a Capitol alumni and current staff member, i love being able to help provide our amazing students with the tools, education, professional products, industry connections, and opportunities that help prepare them for successful careers in this beautiful industry.
